The groundbreaking ceremony for the Suzhou Dio Elevator Industrial Park (Phase II) was held.

The tenth day of the first lunar month symbolizes perfection in all aspects. At 9:18 a.m., the groundbreaking ceremony for the second phase of the Dio Elevator project officially commenced. Attending the ceremony were Zhang Zhicheng, Deputy Director of the Wujiang District People’s Congress; Qi Zhenyu, Deputy District Mayor; the three leading bodies of Zhenze Town; heads of various government departments; and senior executives from the Dio Group. The ceremony was presided over by Chen Qi, Mayor of Zhenze Town.

Bo Jianlin, General Manager of Dio Elevator, gave a project introduction at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Dio Elevator Industrial Park (Phase II).

Lu Bin, Secretary of the Zhenze Town Party Committee, delivered a speech.

Relevant leaders and senior executives from the Di'ao Group jointly broke ground and laid the foundation stone for the project.

The Suzhou Dio Elevator Industrial Park covers an area of over 150 mu, with the second-phase project occupying nearly 100 mu. This phase is primarily dedicated to constructing workshops for complete elevators and core components, a research and development building, and a national-level elevator laboratory. The total investment for this phase amounts to 120 million U.S. dollars, with the goal of fully developing the Dio Elevator Industrial Park. Currently, the 22,000-square-meter high-performance escalator manufacturing workshop and the 17,000-square-meter R&D building have been completed. The remaining undeveloped land will be used to build a multi-functional workshop for elevator core components as well as supporting facilities. The second-phase project is expected to be completed by June 2018. Once the park is fully operational, the company’s annual production capacity of escalators and elevators will increase by 5,000 sets, significantly enhancing the company’s core competitiveness.
